An Attic black-figure lip cup

The tondo by a painter near Nikosthenes, the interior black glazed with reserved line within lip, the reserved tondo with broad band of alternating red and black tongues between two sets of four concentric circles, in the centre a pair of running figures, a satyr vigorously pursuing a maenad, the latter with head turned back towards the satyr, the figures overlapping, the maenad with white face and limbs and added red and white detail, the exterior with black line below lip and reserved stripe on black body, reserved edge to foot, nonsense inscription between handles on both sides, (repaired from six large fragments)
