a mycenaean three-handled spouted flask
Late 14th Century B.C.
The rounded buff coloured body with attractive orange decoration tapering down to stemmed foot, five stylized palmettes around the shoulder, the body with horizontal bands and concentric lines and one band of broken zigzags, the three high handles painted on the outside, the spouted mouth outlined with band below it, engraved concentric circles on underside of foot, (repaired from several fragments, with minor restoration)
