A Graeco-Egyptian polychrome terracotta figure of Priapus
Circa 2nd-1st Century B.C.
The bearded standing god raising his cloak to expose his erect phallus, (broken away at base of legs); and another of a female harpist, standing in seductive pose, holding her harp to her left ear as she plays, her face turned sideways over her right shoulder, traces of black hair emerging from under her elaborate turban, (made in a two-part mould with only the front half painted; minor repairs)
4¾in. (12cm.) and 8½in. (21.5cm.) high respectively (2)
