The case surmounted by a large ormolu foliate cast flambeau urn finial on a simple pedestal supported by foliate cast volutes on a baldachin with oromlu reeded Ionic columns enclosing a multi-faceted mirror centrepiece with cluster column supports and Gothic arches, the rounded base and shouldered sides set with foliate cast ormolu sound frets with flambeau urn finials to the four out-set angles applied with foliate cast ormolu volutes and supported on twin scrolling feet, the three silvered Roman dials with blued spade hands and signed below Viner 235. Regent St. London within a line engraved border, the massive twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement chiming on eight bells via eight hammers and with hour strike on large gong, the two side dials indirectly driven by bevelled gearing coupled to the backplate signed Viner 235 Regent St. London
