Including portraits identified on an accompanying later list as follows: Maharaja Tukoji Rao Holkar of Indore; Maharaja of Mysore; Maharaja Gulab Singh of Jammu-Kashmir; Maharaja Sindia of Gwalior; Maharaja of Raghuraj Singh of Rewah; Maharaja of Bhannagar and his court; Maharaja Sayaji Rao III, Gaekwar of Baroda; Maharaja of Jodhpur; Maharaja of Dhar and suite; Maharanee Jumabai of Baroda; the Begum of Bhopal; Maharao Rajah of Bundi; and group portraits including the Prime Minister of Nepal; the Maharaja Chandra Shum Shere Jung Rama Bahadur, Prime Minister of Nepal with Maharani; HRH Prince of Wales and group; the Governor of Madras and his camp; Nepalese ladies; and two views of the Imperial Assemblage, Delhi, 1877.

Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, visited India in 1875-76 and it is likely that many of these portraits were made around this time to commemorate his visit. A great Durbar was held in Bombay on the Prince's birthday, 9th November 1875. The album would appear to have been compiled for the Maharaja of Bhaunagar at a later date.
