Several views around Bombay, Calcutta, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri and Sikandra including a view showing Bourne's studio on Rampart Row, Bombay; street views, the Elephanta caves; a view inside Fort William, Calcutta; 'Old Court House Street', Calcutta; harbour views; several views of the Taj Mahal and twelve portrait studies of workers and servants.

W.G. Stretton advertised himself as a 'marine photographer' and sometimes styled himself as 'Captain'. He operated from a studio in Bombay c.1870-72 and in Calcutta c. 1875-80.
