The rifle has been used by the owner in Ethiopia and the Red Sea littoral. According to the gun and outdoor writer Jack O'Connor, the .270 should be 'the preferred rifle for all seasons'. The rifle remains in good condition and comes complete with 80 rounds of ammunition
