TIARAS
Tiara is a wider term used for headdress such as diadems, bandeaux and circlets, historically regarded as a symbol of status for aristocracy. Many tiaras created throughout the 18th century up until the present are designed as several detachable elements, so they could be worn as other jewels such as brooches and bracelets. The widely accepted peak of the tiara trend occurred during the late 19th century, before World War I, when the tiara perfectly sat atop the fashionable high bun hairstyle.
