Descriptif du lot

This limited edition Hublot chronograph is a formidable technical masterpiece in every sense of the word and is without doubt one of the most desirable and rarely seen of Hublot’s chronographs. The Big Bang Unico Retrograde Chronograph Kobe “Vino” Bryant limited edition in black ceramic has an instantly recognisable and now iconic design aesthetic. Nicknamed the ‘Big Bang Vino’ watch, it was launched in 2015 with a Bi-retrograde chronograph custom-built to time a 48-minute basketball game plus overtime in place of a standard 60-minute chronograph timer. The green sapphire exhibition case back bears Kobe Bryant’s signature.

Kobe Bryant became an ambassador for Hublot in 2013, with the launch of the King Power ‘Black Mamba’, Bryant’s then nickname. The present limited edition Big Bang Unico Retrograde Chronograph Kobe “Vino” Bryant, “Vino” having become his more recent nickname, was the second major timepiece Hublot launched in the basketball player’s honour. In his own words, the name “Vino” was given to him as a more mature athlete, because, “like wine, he had improved with age.”
