woodcut, 1913-14, on Japan paper, signed and dated 14 in pencil, a fine, rich impression, printing with much texture and impurities in the block, before the edition of forty impressions published in the portfolio Elf Holzschnitte - 1912-1919 - Erich Heckel bei J. B. Neumann (published by I. B. Neumann and printed by Voigt, Berlin, 1921), with margins, probably the full sheet, a deckle edge above and below, a repaired hole in the image at upper left, a tear in the upper right margin, a few foxmarks, some nicks and creases at the sheet edges
