The centre designed as an oval-shaped cabochon turquoise and old-cut diamond cluster within an old-cut diamond stylised ribbon surround suspending three turquoise and old-cut diamond drops, the central drop detachable, to the old-cut diamond fringe, the centrepiece detaching to form a smaller brooch with the option of suspending the detachable central drop, mounted in silver and gold, circa 1870, 10.0 cm long
