About the Thomas and Doris Ammann Foundation
The Thomas and Doris Ammann Foundation aims to save lives and significantly improve the well-being of children and young adults by championing select causes that are proven to be highly effective in their field. Conceived as a spend-down foundation, it will commit the entirety of its funds within a limited number of years of receiving the proceeds of the sale of the Collection of Thomas and Doris Ammann. Inspired by the late Doris Ammann’s dedication to providing children with protection and support, the organization plans to invest in various education programs, healthcare initiatives and groundbreaking research. Some of the central areas of focus include increasing life expectancy, eradicating diseases, fighting malnutrition, promoting health education and more. In addition to these overarching goals, the foundation will establish a specific fund that provides suffering children in developing countries with direct access to critical care in first-class medical institutions.
