A Regency gilt bronze and carrara marble mantel timepiece, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, signed PERGAL & DUTERRAU, BOND STREET, LONDON, within an engine turned bezel, on anthemion scroll supports, surmounted by an eagle with outstretched wings, and draped with acorns and oak leaf swags, flanked by seated, reading muses, the rectangular plinth centred by a grotesque mask, and with fruiting tasselled garlands, on toupee feet -- 14¼in.
