Following the memorable successes of The Dr A. Botenga Collection Part I and II in London and Hong Kong in 2023, Christie’s Wine Department is delighted to present the final selection of prestigious wines from this esteemed cellar.
Part III of The Dr A. Botenga Collection will be offered in our Fine and Rare Wines & Spirits Online: London Edition auction, featuring a wide range of 20th-century classics, including rarely seen wines from the region’s golden era of winemaking. Highlights include First Growths from renowned Bordeaux châteaux, with vintages dating back to the 1950s, alongside an extraordinary range of mature Bordeaux and Burgundy at many different price points. Additionally, the auction boasts a wonderful collection of half bottles of some of the greatest Bordeaux of the 20th century.
Spanning six decades, Dr A. Botenga’s cellar is one of the greatest wine collections to come to auction, offering a rare chance for collectors to own iconic wines curated with unrivalled expertise and passion.
