ArtCrush 2025
Art auctions to support the Aspen Art Museum
-
Event date 15 July - 2 August -
Event location Aspen
For two decades, the ArtCrush gala and auction has been the Aspen Art Museum’s marquee annual fundraiser, with proceeds supporting groundbreaking exhibitions and dynamic educational initiatives that resonate both locally and globally. This year’s gala, chaired by Sarah Arison, Jen Rubio and Charlie Pohlad, honors the artist Glenn Ligon.
Now in its 20th year, ArtCrush 2025 features a curated selection of works generously donated by leading artists, presented in both a live auction—held during the gala on Friday, 1 August—and an online auction open for bidding from 22 July through 2 August.
As the Museum’s auction partner, Christie’s will lead the live auction component of ArtCrush 2025. In honor of the museum’s founding by artists, and for the second consecutive year, participating artists are invited to retain a percentage of the value of their donated works.
On view at the Aspen Art Museum from 15 July, the ArtCrush auction exhibition offers an early look at the remarkable works up for bidding. This year’s presentation features an outstanding selection of paintings, sculptures, works on paper and a special design section curated in collaboration with Aspen-based architect Sarah Broughton.
Phone and absentee bids accepted: bid@aspenartmuseum.org

About the partner

Founded by artists in 1979 as a non-collecting institution, Aspen Art Museum is committed to advancing contemporary art and driving cultural change through exhibitions, critical dialogues, and community engagement. Inspired by our alpine landscape and Aspen’s history of experimentation and exchange, we embrace the creative possibilities that emerge when artists are invited to leave their imprint on our institution.
